If you need to bring an harassment case or you are being accused of harassment I provide legal advice assistance in preparing a case and legal representation. In addition I can act as an independent Mediator/Arbitrator. I can also provide advice and assistance to Clients outside England and Wales .
Like most Barristers I am usually instructed via a Solicitor however I am approved by the Bar Council to take instructions directly from members of the public subject to Bar Council rules and on terms set out in my client care letter. If your problem involves Criminal charges or the Police then you will need to see a Solicitor. I can be briefed by Solicitors, Trade Unions, Local Authorities, Housing Associations etc.

I do NOT give clients legal advice over the telephone and this is for your protection as much as mine. If you want me to assist you then you need to download this form and download my standard client care letter so that I am provided with all the information I need to advise you properly. A legal advice will give you a proper idea of whether you have a case and what is the best way to proceed. I can also draft letters etc to assist you in dealing with your harassment problem or advise as to the evidence you need to obtain for a successful case.
I charge for each Advice or other work as I do it, and any charge will be agreed with you before I do anything. You will not be hit with any hidden charges, surcharges or "extra's".
Preparing or fighting a legal case
Most law firms expect to handle your entire legal case from start to finish with the client being billed at the end of the case, or with regular demands for "payments on account". This often means that people are left with the choice of either dealing with everything themselves or not knowing what their eventual bill will be.
I work on an entirely different basis. I will deal with, and charge you for, specific tasks which YOU decide you want me to deal with. For example if you are brining a case before a Court or Tribunal then I can draft the claim for you and assist you in drafting statements. If you are being brought before a Court or Tribunal then I can draft the defence for you. In addition I can represent you at the hearing.
I will charge only for the specific task that you ask me to do and any charge will be agreed with you first.
